Our design experience includes the implementation of programmable logic control systems, the application of advanced control techniques, discrete manufacturing automation, authentication technologies, radio and telephone telemetry systems, and power monitoring software systems. Our exceptional staff members include engineers, programmers, and technicians with a wealth of multi-disciplinary experience in system automation, design, and management. We are a UL certified panel assembly shop. Our panels are UL listed to UL 508A standards, or to UL 698A standards if they contain intrinsically safe circuits for use in hazardous locations.
Using the wealth of knowledge at CITI each control panel is designed specifically for your needs. After meeting with the customer to determine needs and budget CITI will proceed with designing preliminary drawings in Autocad that will soon become a control panel. After preliminary drawings are approved by the customer, the panel will go to manufacturing where our professional panel shop will carry out the build through every last detail. After manufacturing is complete the panel will undergo a complete diagnostic checkout to verify every component. Following successful component checkout our software engineers will perform a Facotory Acceptance Test to the customers liking to ensure a seamless installation and start up. |

Three Stage 4-20 mA Transient Suppressor Card Detail The 4-20 ma transient suppressor is a three-stage device; with gas tube arrestors connected from each signal line to the fault ground, and will suppress transients of 75 volts line to ground, or 150 volts line to line. The second stage consists of 3 metal oxide varistors, suppressing transients of 47 volts either line to line, or line to ground. Third stage consists of two bi-directional tranzorb zener diodes, which shall suppress any remaining transients to 33 volts. Resistors are utilized between the stages in order to allow proper clamping, and 1/8 amp fast-acting instrument fuses are provided for each line for extra protection against surges and improper wiring. The card is also keyed to prevent improper installation to the base. |

Three Stage 4-20 mA Transient Suppressor Base Detail The transient suppressor base allows flexibility for the 4-20 ma transient suppressor card by providing jumpers for configuration of 2-wire or 4-wire connection, and for proper grounding of the cable shields. Terminal posts are for a 1-5 volt conversion resistor in front of the board. The unit provides built-in daisy chaining for power supply and ground bus circuits. Quality terminal blocks are provided for field termination, and the suppressor itself is mounted in the edge connector, greatly simplifying troubleshooting or replacement. |
